Brief Strategic Therapy
We Help you Solve your Problem by Changing your Behaviour
Brief Strategic Psychotherapy is a strategic short-term-focused therapeutically approach, which helps our clients by constructing solutions rather than dwelling on problems. These interventions have been found successful for a wide range of psychopathological issues, with an average of 88% success rate.
Brief Strategic Psychotherapy is highly strategic, exploratory, versatile, and adaptive. It is less concerned with the origin of a problem than with the current factors sustaining it and deterring change.
There are personal therapies that last for years and treatments that have conclusive results in a maximum of 10 sessions.
The goal of Brief Strategic Psychotherapy is to promote a desirable change. From a dysfunctional balance – the balance of the problem – we get to build a new, more appropriate, balance of the solution. It all starts with our instinctive reactions to the reality we perceive; it all begins with emotions. Sometimes these are blocked and won’t unlock naturally, and our wellbeing will be damaged as a result.
We apply innovative techniques built ad hoc to unlock particular types of negative patterns or persistence.
Creativity and flexibility play a significant role in Brief Strategic Psychotherapy, which makes it appropriate for business-coaching and strategic problem solving, as well as therapy
Whenever a problem or a recurrent pattern strikes, people are so deep into their problem that they cannot see the positives they’re living with.
Most of the time, call for an external psychotherapeutically intervention to unlock the awareness of the positive, which is not at all evident to the person in suffering.
At the core of the work lies the concept of attempted solutions. Most psychological issues are not created by specific and straightforward causes but developed over time through the use and reiteration of negative, dysfunctional strategies. These behaviors, coupled with the firm belief that they will eventually solve our problems, are maintaining the issues and making them worse.
Disease types treated
These treatment protocols proved to solve with greater effectiveness and quicker than any other form of psychotherapy (10 sessions average) essential disorders such as:
- Panic attacks
- Psychological Trauma
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder
- Eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia)
Through the use of suggestive, evocative language, strategic intervention guides the client to the identification of correct strategies to unblock their emotional balance. The client will eventually begin to perceive reality in a new, more functional way and build towards desirable, long-lasting change.
This re-organization of perception is the main leverage of therapeutic change. With a new understanding, it is possible to change behaviors and unblock stuck mechanisms and reactions.
Of course, there is work to do after these few sessions, to establish the change and turn it into a satisfactory and stable new balance. After these few sessions, the work becomes more explanatory and goes beyond the symptom to re-invent a new perception of reality.
Please select the type of disease you are facing and ask an ID Therapy specialist.
We combine different psychotherapeutic solutions to map the exact source and the way of how each symptom manifests.
ID Therapy team innovatively combines those types of therapy to provide a shortcut to the solution and to have a diagnose directly into the context.
